We start with an introduction to how the body responds to physical pain, using the latest research from neuroscience. In order to get the results you want, it’s important you understand what’s actually going on in your brain and bowels.
Next, we will look into how the physical body represents your emotional state. Having IBS can affect your emotional state in more ways than one. If you want to reduce your stress and resolve your pain, you need to deal with your symptoms at a psychological level too.
We all have beliefs about our symptoms, other people, and ourselves. We look at your history and pinpoint the root cause of these beliefs. This will open your eyes to what keeps the sensations going. I'll then help you to think differently.
You will be provided with plenty of action steps to get you to your end goal. You will learn to individualize my key techniques to help you to start living a more rounded life again, without medication or restricting your diet.
